Cold Cloisonne

Cold Cloisonne is a generic term for just about anything that resembles traditional Cloisonne. I expand on the beautiful traditional art form by creating two distinct techniques. These techniques allow Cloisonne to be used as never before.

The Hand-Wired Method is similar to the traditional Cloisonne process, using pigmented resins instead of enamels.

The Etched Method uses chemical etching to create the shapes, which allows endless design possibilities.

Uses for the Etched Method include interior windows, room dividers, large wall systems (with or without back lighting), cabinet panel inserts, furniture trim, i.e. table top or border treatment, and custom lighting.
